Spaghetti Supper

Imagine food donated by local businesses, prepared by parents, and served by 5th graders all in the name of a community fund raiser. One Friday in October, 5th grade students, teachers, and parents stayed after school to prepare for the annual Spaghetti Supper. Students learned how to wait on customers, clear tables, serve drinks and desserts, all without sampling the wares, well not too much anyway. Two seatings were filled with families and community members eager for a tasty supper and interesting service. The silent auction that accompanied the supper was a huge success as well. Funds raised went directly to the annual Sargent Center outdoor education trip for the 5th grade. Thank you to the parents for all of their hours of preparation. Thank you to the teachers, past and present, for coming out to support this event!
