Students at Davis Hill studied painter Georges Seurat. Seurat was a French pointillist painter. Pointillism is a painting technique in which small dots of color are grouped together to create a vibrant work or painting. Seurat was the artist that invented this style of painting. He only completed 7 major paintings during his lifetime, although he did finish 40 smaller ones.
