Holiday Marketplace
The PTO wishes to express their sincere thanks for your help with the Holiday Marketplace on Saturday, November 15. We had a lot of fun and raised money for programs for our school. Thank you to all of the people who donated baked goods for our bake sale, to the room moms for getting donations for the baskets and an extra special thanks to the following volunteers who donated their time: Kathy, Rachel, Jodi, Betty, Diane, Donna, Cornalijn, Kathy, Jenn, Sara, Daphne, Jennifer, Sue, Leslie, Sarah, Christine, Rachel & Kim. And to the wonderful Girl Scout troops and their Leaders for the crafts, face painting, gift wrapping, and letters to Santa! Mary Beth, Kris, Julie & Kerri. Thank you very much! Veterans Day Ceremony
As part of their unit on war and Veterans, PCS 8th grade students interviewed Veterans, wrote narrative poems and wrote reflections of what they learned. Parents and guests were invited to the 8th Annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Friday, November 7th. Poems and reflections were read as part of that ceremony. Click here for pictures.
Mathletes
Congratulations to PCS Mathletes who traveled to the Middle School Math Invitational at St. John's School, in Shrewsbury, on Tuesday, October 28th. PCS Mathletes brought home the first place team award. Outstanding individual recognition went to Erika, with a 2nd place finish and Steven, with a 3rd place finish. The Branches of Government
In September of 2008, students in Ms Smith's 8th grade social studies classes taught 4th grade students about the branches of US government. Click here for photos.
Constitution Day
